Job Description

Production Manager/Senior Graphic Designer

Been here going on 7 years now as Production Manager. Don't get to do nearly as much art any more, seems I spend most my time trying to figure out what everybody else is doing, keeping up with the work flow, and trying to stimulate the business growth!

Education or Accreditations

School of Hard Knocks, On-the-Job Training for 40 plus years will teach you quite a bit! Also managed to become registered as a Journeyman in Graphic Design with the U.S. Department of Labor (boy that's another long story)!

Work Background

Been working in the print industry since I was 14 years old. Mom was a Graphic Designer/Artist too and started teaching me young. Most recently was the General Manager at a print shop before the kinds folks here at JPT talked me into coming on board.

Spent many years actually running a press too, which makes it much easier to understand how art for print really needs to be prepare.

Oh I know just enough to get into trouble in most of them!!!

Working on our lake house in Missouri that my Popa (grandfather) built, and I love working on yard here in Fort Worth. I am really into the whole genealogy thing too!

Hands down "Pulp Fiction" closely followed by all the Lord of the Rings/Hobbits, then still love the ones from my childhood like "It's A Wonderful Life", "Gone With The Wind", "Wizard of Oz", "Casablanca" - wow what a wide array that is!

Favorite Book

Just one, how do I choose that? "Gone With The Wind", "The World According To Garp", all the Harry Potters, "Ender's Game", "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues" and on and on...
